The Angel - Islington

Really lovely place, food was nice and drinks were tasty. Shout out to Cameron and Mo for looking after us even when it got busier. They deserve a pay raise!

Our birthday celebration at the Angel pub was amazing! The evening was great! The food was rich and tasty! The staff were fantastic, a big shout out to Cameron and Ella who made the evening unforgettable, always smiling, friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a pub to make your birthday (or any day for that matter) a truly unforgettable experience, look no further!

Went here for a business lunch. Good sausage and mash, good beer. Business partner had equally good burger.

The staff at this restaurant were discriminatory and biased. They are currently involved in a legal dispute and I am taking legal action against them. I cannot provide more details at this time, but I had a negative experience with their prejudiced staff.

Didn't know this pub at all but had booked to go to a gig (Creep Show at the nearby Village Underground and needed pre gig beer and food so after a bit of online research, this place looked very suitable, being only 10 minutes walk from the venue, so booked a table for two. It didn't disappoint! On arrival met with friendly staff, good beer (can't go wrong with a couple of jars of Neck Oil and good food OK not Michelin 3 star but perfectly delicious pub grub! We were invited to the pub quiz upstairs but with the gig to go to had to pass on that. Would definitely go back, even just for a couple of pints in passing and definitely will be my preferred pre gig pub when next going to Village Underground. (Great venue by the way but that will have to be in a separate review!
