Harab'be Cafe - Istanbul

The neighboring of hagia sophia ia full of tourist, which makes harab’be cafe special. it is in a pedestrian zone away from the noise and the amount. the setting is super comfortable: they sit on soft, big, kissing and they get the feeling to fly off on a magic carpet. I had hummus and falafel that I thought was ok until I found out from other reviews that they were vegan! this is the first time that flafel cannot be vegan. Oh, good, whatever. cocktail was a bit too sweet for my lust and also they brought a tatsiki with the falafel I did not order. the personal is very nice, the service is fast, it is a great place to relax and it remains late open! updated by the previous review on 2022-06-04

From the way to find the restaurant and ended disappointed and hungry! we asked if we can order food and menus. we ordered our drinks that took about 20 minutes to arrive and both were wrong. we then tried desperately to order something, but for no purpose. it was at 9 o'clock, others eat and we had a long, tiresome day, so after another 30 minutes we requested our bill. we might have arrived on the wrong day! updated by the previous review on 2021-12-10

Harab’be caffe is a hooka (shisha) caffe that serves excellent meals. we have really enjoyed our veggie meal and price / quality was excellent. very friendly atmosphere, I recommend this place 100%.

The menu was quiet a classic Turkish menu. I had a veggie pide with a nice top and a plate mezze. the menu is translated in English and they speak English. the outside is simply stunning, it is a very nice place to have a hookah and the staff is very friendly.

Food was OK but nothing was specified as vegan, there are a few salad options as well as traditional Turkish meals like dolma and beans, but you could find these options at any restaurant in Istanbul. Waiter looked confused when I said I was vegan, seemed like they only really cared about getting us to sit down at their restaurant. We were offered cay at the end for free which was nice.
