Overpriced place with almost nothing vegan. Every kebab place in this city have more options then this restaurant. Why is it even here?
This restaurant is a real gem in Istanbul, offering a lot of vegetarian options. The food is very good and the staff is super friendly, but not in a forced way.
Came here after the visit of the hidden gem, theodosius cisterna, and saw the reviews. thought that eating looked good and was not to weaken by the price, but it is quite expensive. like, equals £11 for the vegan mezze. explains that I was vegan, and they brought over a mint yogurt dip and something similar to the poppy brot and they were convinced that it was vegan. I asked if there were any milk in broth (sometimes to look in the turkey and wondered if there were allergens, I said no, he said that there is a little milk in it, so wait it! They were helpful and wanted to understand, so they brought me about some different sliced brot with the vegan plate. eating itself was quite average and not massively exciting. the filled wein leaves were great.
The food tasted good, especially the homemade fresh bread. but it is very expensive compared to many other restaurants that we were in truthahn and the portions are also quite small. we also ordered a dish that would normally come with cheese and told them we were vegan and if they could leave the cheese and the waiter said, of course, it would not be a problem. but when they brought us the food that it had on him, we sent it back and got something new without cheese. took one because of the previous review updated on 2022-04-30
