Zucca Pizza Cafe - Istanbul

Order this from jemeneksepeti (Turkish justeat) 2 options for vegans. a tomato base with veg and a pesto avocado pizza that was super delicious. the tomaten lacked a vegan cheese or maybe more toppings.

We tried Pastas: 7. Quattro Formaggi 8/10 The cheese quality and pasta is amazing. 3.Torollini Melanzana 10/10 Obsessed with this Pizzas: 11. Köz patlıcanlı bonfire 7/10 We tried it with the zucca sauce. Very good. 15.Fume antrikot 9/10 Very very good. Loved it. The portions of the pastas were a bit small. The prices a bit expensive. The vibe is friendly and homey. Very comfortable atmosphere.

Love the pizza ,staff was nice too. Clean place. but pasta was not tasty at all. It was not up to my expectations.I’ve eaten much better pastas in Istanbul. And a suggestion : it would be much better if you put salt paper and napkins in desks.

I rated this place 5 stars a couple years back but a lot has changed. Food is still tasty but half the wine menu is out of stock. Not only that but it was extremely hot inside. We got served wine at 28-30 degrees and it was stored at that temperature. They will all go bad in a couple of weeks probably.

Sorry to say but it was lower than my expectations from Italian restaurant with 4.6 rating. Staff and atmosphere is nice though. They are doing their best. Really. But the food is too heavy by oil, salt and « other toppings »-ingredients. Carbonara is ok if you don’t expect anything. Pizza 4 cheese is not a good option at all. Skip that. Lemon tiramisu is not your choice if you are a fan of traditional one. I would say that’s a place for a glass of wine and warm conversation with your date. Have a look if you are close by but don’t choose the place if you want Italian cuisine.
