Before I write more please, please, please let the staff take off their masks! It’s been 2 years since mask mandates and having a conversation with the staff with their faces covered is ridiculous time to move into the now! Wearing a mask now must be as miserable for them as it is for us to see.. That said, we absolutely love Shitake! The staff is exceptional as is the food. We would especially like to acknowledge Daniel he’s amazing and is one of the best servers we have encountered in a very long time! We appreciate the fact that you can go traditional Japanese or try more traditional Brazilian/International foods. We have friends who really don’t like Japanese food but they always finds something good to eat on the menu. We will continue to visit often and hope we can actually get to see our servers’ faces for a change.

Good Japanese kitchen and fish. they serve all kinds of foods (including picanha, pommes), but in my opinion they have to try something sushi. I tried many Japanese restaurants in Brazil, but this is still my favorite.
