It is nothing special, but surely one of the top 3 places in itaparica to have dinner on the waterline. service good, food average. save them by car directly at the harbour marina.

We ate at portal the aguas 2 years ago and went back last month during our trip to Salvador, Brazil. this restaurant is located in itaparica island, in marina with tables with views of the sea. they have a varied menu of traditional Bahian food, especially seafood fresh and tasty, also bark meat and wings in the menu. my partner chose a court of king garnels, boiled in coconut flakes and sauce, and I had some fried white fish with vegetables and both dishes were delicious. we were in the middle of the week both males, so it was very quiet and the service was excellent, so we have no experience there at the weekend to eat when we heard that it is really busy. we had our lunches at midday while we waited to go to the Ferryboat terminal to catch our boat back to Salvador. it was nice to eat how the pretty fish swim and play. upgraded, we will go back.

They have a varied menu of traditional Bahian food, mainly seafood fresh and delicious, also beef and poultry in the menu. My partner chose a dish of king prawns cooked in coconut flakes and sauce and I had some fried sliced white fish with vegetables and both dishes were delicious. We were there in the middle of week both times, so it was very quiet and the service was excellent, so we have no experience of eating there at the weekend when we heard it is really busy. We had our meals at lunch time while waiting to go to the Ferryboat terminal to catch our boat back to Salvador. It was lovely to eat watching the pretty fish swiming and playing. Highly reccomended, we will be going back.
