Torta Cubana was amazing the melted cheese made it perfect , definitely coming back .
On the way to work I found this restaurant and decided to stop by to eat some chilaquiles with eggs. The truth is, I don't usually go to eat somewhere without a prior recommendation. but I was not disappointed. The facilities are impeccably clean, the staff is very friendly, and the chilaquiles are an explosion of flavors. I tried a coffee that must be brewed with cinnamon, it tastes delicious. I will definitely be back to try something else from the menu.
The old owners were delightful. These new owners changed everything. Like come on this used to be our favorite spot..Everything tastes bad. No other way to put it. Really sad they jacked up the flavors of everything. I hope they fix it because the rice was not flavorful, and the guac was not even guac. Was more cilantro diced in there than anything. Overpowering. Not creamy at all? Idk it was gross. Chips were stale too and really hard :(On top of that all the prices went up. And the “large” chips and guac is now what the small was. Everything was just so disappointing and they didn’t even know what a veggie taco was?? LOL
Seems like this place changed ownership a bit or style of cooking. They're a lot better than before. But I will say they are still very cheap when they come to giving salsa or lime. They cut one line into eight pieces and give you 1/8 of a lime piece per taco and zero limes per torta. Cut your lines in 1/4 and call it a day. I guess I'm just used to City Taco joints where they gave you slightly more limes than you would need. I would also stay away from the salsas that look like they're mixed with sour cream ?
