The Xetava burger was incredible! Came out in 10 min!
Name of my server is on my receipt. I will ask for her again. You also get points for dining that you can use for money off. I came here alone and decided to sit outside. I ordered the wild caught Mahi and beet salad. It was so good. The waitress was really sweet. Fish could have been cooked on lower temp so it wasn’t so dry but the sauce and portion and overall flavor were delicious. The fish was wild caught and came with bok choy The beet salad could have used few more beets but it was tasty. Next time I will skip the salads and get a different appetizer to go with. There is also their Cafe around the corner that looks good. There are two very clean restrooms directly around the corner that serve the little shops. The views and location are amazing. I saw the other restaurant has a 30% off bill during the week so I will try that next time.
First time visiting Kayenta Art Village. The cafe came recommended by our tour guide and it certainly looked pleasant. First, it was hard to order. There are NO physical menus despite numerous requests from patrons. The WIFI is not very solid which makes QR code ordering difficult. We ordered the tacos-but there was a question of whether there would be tacos on Sunday. The waitress was accommodating and friendly and mentioned that people often ask for menus-noting that many retirees come to Kayenta. The food and drinks were tasty. The taco portion was small. But, the real surprise came to restrooms. We were directed out of the restaurant, down the path to 2 individual unisex bathrooms shared by all visitors to Kayenta. There were about 10 people in line which was somewhat of a wait. This all leads me to question the hand washing protocol at the restaurant? There was a Kayenta guide or similar directing people to Porto-johns to expedite the bathroom line. This did not leave me with a good impression of Xetava...a restaurant with no guest bathrooms is quite strange for a new restaurant in the U.S.
Great ambience food was wonderful. Fun area to explore as well.
