We had the fried cauliflower tacos which just tasted like oil/frying unlike other places I've tried. For dessert, €6.50 for mini churros also tasting of oil and a portion of industrial chocolate (American type, it was neither melted chocolate nor Nutella for example). Plus, we arrived at 6:30 p.m. and were told that we can be seated but they will need the table at 7:30 p.m. 8 p.m. In most restaurants when they tell you that, it's 8 p.m. but no later than that they say ok. They served us the last slush margarita about ten minutes before but it was still so frozen that it was impossible to suck through the straw. Then at exactly 7:30 p.m., the staff asks us to get up and leave. They put the Margarita in a plastic pot that we had to throw away... I think they could have done something about that anyway. The disappointment wasn't total because the atmosphere was nice but given the number of good restaurants around, I won't go back Vegetarian options: Options for veggie in tacos and quesadillas are either fried cauliflower or asparagus
Absolutely infamous, the food is inedible, no quality, no taste, no Mexican flavor. Even the cocktails are bad (tastes like medicine). The portions are ridiculously small and the prices are exorbitant for s , supposedly everything is homemade but we can strongly doubt it when we see the face of the “dishes”. We would have preferred to eat in a fast food restaurant in comparison! Save your money and run. Price per person: €30–40
Food is not tasty at all. Worst Mexican restaurant i’ve ever been to. Too pricy for the portions. We had a bad smell for the chicken tacos. (The waiter was okay to change it for another one) Too crowded and not very spacious. Good service and the waiters are very very friendly and lovely. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
So. I read the comments and it scared me. But as I'm shy, that I dream of going to Quebec to eat a poutine, and that I had never eaten it before: I still ordered via UberEats. The order arrived completely and warm. No cancellation, no stock break, no sarcasm .. Nothing I've read. Fast and efficient. The quantity scared me too. And when I received my order: I was indeed scared. I have two days of food! What's coming back to me at 7.5th the final meal. Gustatively, I would not be able to judge because I don't know if this poutine (Monique) is close to those we traditionally do. Sweet brown sauce, rubbery cheese, bacon, maple syrup, some fries, too soft or too hard. And in real, everything blends perfectly. It's an explosion of flavors in the mouth and I've enjoyed myself! So either I was lucky or the previous negative opinions don't have to be. Thanks for this introduction to the poutine, which is cruelly in Europe
Lovely relaxed and friendly palce. The staff couldn't have been more helpful with my recharging needs.
