El Chiringito - Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

This is just a great beach bar and restaurant. The service is super fast and everyone is very friendly. Drinks are great and the food is nummy! Great place to hang out for the afternoon.

I would strongly reccommend you stop by to meet the staff and partake in the food and atmoshere. The place is a must when visiting Playa La Madeira.

Staff were super nice, Freddy and Chava. Fish tacos came with 3 tacos (teriyaki/pineapple), salad and rice. Octopus cocktail was big and done right, yum. Great location on the beach and really good mango margaritas. We walked by one day and mentioned we would come back the next day because it was my sister's birthday and when we showed up they gave her a birthday cake with a candle. So sweet. Prices aren't bad for the beach.

We came here several times. Luis and Monkey will take care of you. You can dine right on the beach and they will make sure your cup won't go empty. We went fishing and the guys cooked our catch for us.

Was coaxed in by one of the servers with 60 peso, grande margaritas so figured we'd give it a try. They were Grande for sure but not very good and very little tequila. In fact, tasted like lemonade with a splash of tequila. When the bill came he wrote down 140 pesos (two margaritas) to which I asked, I thought you said 60 each? After some hemming and hawing, he said yes, 120 total. I don't ever remember being bait and switched on a bill in Mexico ever. If he had said 120 like we were promised I was prepared to lay down 150 pesos and left with no questions; probably wasn't his fault the margaritas sucked. And I would normally never even bother over the 20 pesos but the principle of the tactic really bothered me. Would never go back!
