Overall, the food was not so great. And we had to wait for 3 hours to get it. The view was well typical beach like zone. Customer service was decent. The price was average!
What else to sy except brilliant. We were on a 13-day trip to ixtapa and spent 5 of these days here in hidden paradise. The staff, Juan the owner, to tina tequilla, paco, jose and the whole family there make you feel like your home!!!! The food here is ineffective, try the seafood pineapples, the best!!!! As I read in another post, I had no problems using my credit card here, and after talking to the owner about this review, he told me that a bad review was reversed and people got their money back. Please take the time for a day here and are treated to unreal relaxation and fun!! No shoes. no shirts, no problem:
As always, meeting Tina with her smiling face(that never seems to age) is like coming home. If we never return to Ixtapa, after many visits, it will be Ixtapa Island and Tina’s amazing food and hospitality we’ll miss. Please walk to the end of the beach if you want the best!
We met the owner of this restaurant (Juan) in the boat on the way over, so decided to go to his restaurant. We got loungers at the front of the restaurant and had a very enjoyable afternoon. The pina coladas were delicious and we also had shrimp which was good too. It is a really nice place to spend the afternoon and the Juan is really friendly and helpful, he even gave us a ride back to the mainland in his boat so we could stay longer (the last public boat leaves at 5pm). Would recommend this restaurant, just make sure you get off at the second jetty around the side of the island, most people get off at the first one but it is better to stay on for the second stop.
