The Blue Shrimp - Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo

We got sick from here unfortunately within hours of eating the flambéed shrimp. When they brought it out we did see that it looked like it had been sitting out awhile … we thought well it’ll get cooked so no biggie. Big lesson learned Shrimp doesn’t work like that.

We had their shrimp next door at Zorros while watching a football game. We knew we had to come back bc the shrimp guac were so good. The menu did not disappoint! We ordered the garlic shrimp, guac the surf turf molcajete. (This is not your traditional surf turf) It was delicious with tons of flavor, cheese, cactus, steak shrimp. It says its for 1 person but we both ate from it could not finish it!

My wife and I ate here based on trip advisor reviews and we were not disappointed.My wife ordered the coconut shrimp and I had the house flambé shrimp which were both excellent tasting and the biggest shrimp I ever had.To finish the meal we had flambe’d bananas with ice cream which was excellent as well.You can’t go wrong with the BlueShrimp!

Wow. Heard how good this place was for a whole week so we finally went for supper and it exceeded our expectations. Had shrimp and cheese as an appetizer and Lobster and shrimp and Seafood Chile Rellinos and it was the best meal we had...in weeks. Very busy place but service was excellent. A can’t miss super place to eat. You gotta go here!!

Went on a recommendation, and so glad we did! A short walk from our resort and nestled in a quaint corner just off the boulevard. Warmly welcomed with great service! Dined on scrumptious shrimp and steaks done to perfection! The flambéed shrimp prepared at our...table was fun to watch! The background live music set the mood for a wonderful evening in Ixtapa!
