Contribuisci feedbackYou can taste the food of the Black Sea region in Izmir! The black sea region is famous for Cornbread, Fried Anchovy, Muhlama, Meatballs, and kuru fasulye. You can taste those things here. There is Laz böreği as well. During the week lunches are quite busy and crowded.
The first place that comes to mind when describing black sea cuisine in Izmir Hamsili rice, I don’t recommend you to book for the tomato pan
The service and the vibes were both great. However, the food was way below average. I ordered Etli Pilav and the rice was not cooked well, and the meat was also not of a good quality. The homemade ayran was great though. The dish I ordered was their most famous so It was disappointing for me to find it below our expectations.

We had breakfast in this place, the service and the food was great. We even came the second day for our breakfast. Menemen is delicious.
