I am a regular customer of this restaurant. the place is like a Pixar set for the movie coco, really pleasant. the offer offers an breakfast buffet for breakfast and lunch, both are excellent. it is said that the recipes come from an old grandmother compiled and. I believe it because the aromen and ingredients are more than traditional. the buffet includes a drink in weekdays, coffee, salatbar, suppe, dishes with pork, huh, bark and always a vegetarian main dish, as well as desserts (dresses, sweet brot, capirotada, banans and watch. they have live music, from “trovadores” to “trios”.
We had the lunch buffet on a weekday, and it was probably the best we had in Mexico City (and we had some amazing meals). fabulous salatbar; great hot entrees. Mexican fusion (with Lebanese and Thai) delicious food, wonderful service. And... really cheap, could not ask for more.
We had a coffee with chocolate cake on the sunny terrace of la sazon. I, my daughter and my granddaughter and granddaughter of only 3 weeks. perfect family time!
Been here several times, since I live in this borough. except for one time, the food is decent; but ..... The service is shamefully atrocious. Beginning with the captain at the front door ... all the way to the waiters, they are just rude and...condescending. it's as though they could care less about whether you stay or go. And GO is what I'd suggest, because there are plenty of other good choices either on the same block, or within a block or so in several directions. I have met the owner, and it pains me to leave a negative review, because he's such a nice man. But he's apparently got bad instincts when it comes to staff he's stuck with. You'll enjoy your experience so much more at one of the adjacent establishments.
