Maharaja Quality Sweets And Snacks

Tried the Coconut Jamun for the first time and it didn’t disappoint! It’s $14/lb and i got 1/2 lb .. 5 pcs. But all worth it! Will definitely go back to try more!

I have been purchasing sweets from this restaurant for the past 5 years, but this is the third time we have found a wire in the sweets. The staff has a rude attitude towards customers, but what concerns me the most is their food handling and quality issues. I have notified the manager twice already about finding dish washing sponge wire in their sweets. When I called to address the issue, they told me the manager was not in and the person I spoke to asked me, "What do you want me to do?" They did not seem to care about the problem. I have included a picture of the wire in this post. Please be cautious when ordering from this restaurant.

No matter what time of day you visit, this restaurant always has fresh items available. You will truly experience the authentic taste of Indian sweets here. This is the best Indian sweets I have had in the United States.

While the staff could work on their customer service, this review is focused only on the food, not the service. The Metai is delicious! We purchased a lot to bring back home to a different state. My favorite is the Cham Cham. The shop is small, with the line forming towards the back rather than the front. Seating is limited to about 10 people.

I am writing this as I am standing inside maharaja sweets . I have never gotten this bad treatment from any food service before . First , the two workers behind the counter treated me with so much hate when I told them which mithai I want in my boxes . I ordered $1,200 worth of mithai boxes and still they refused to put the mithai I want . I pointed at the mithai I wanted them to put inside the boxes that I ordered yet the mbecause it’s too much work . She said “this is too hard to do “. They are getting paid to put the mithai I want inside the boxes and the business will get $1,200 from the amount of boxes I ordered . Then , as I waited for my boxes , I asked one of the ladies to put 8 samosas for me and to put it with my order . The lady refused and said to go to the front . Then when I went to the front , a lady with dark brownish hair halted at me when I asked her for samosas . She said in hindhi “ the person is putting ur mithai will put ur samosas “. I said who ? And she said “ who cares “ . Then I said who and she didn’t say anything but kept glaring at me . She glared at me so much even when I moved away to another worker . Then I gave up and got samosas from across the street. I’m never coming here again in my life . The way I was treated by not only one but three different workers inside maharaja is something I will never forget .
