Upon picking up the food, the cashier displayed a sour attitude and a rude expression the entire time. She did not speak a single word and after I paid, she simply placed the money on the counter and walked away. There was only one other customer in the restaurant, so it was not as though she was busy attending to other patrons. Additionally, when I checked my order at home, it was incorrect - I received french fries instead of home fries. Overall, the service was terrible.
Not sure why a place like this doesnt accept $100 bills or cards. It says cash but make sure its not a $100 bill. Or $50. Never ever coming back here again. Also the lady at the cashier is very rude. Zero stars. Theres other places around hereMuch more better.
Back in 2019 I ordered a cake that I found on the internet , after trying many bakeries, I stumbled upon this one and asked if they worked with fondant ? And they told me they did , so I showed them the picture of the cake and they said I was possible . I forgot what filling I got but it was sponge cake and I completely loved it ! I was amazed on how well it resembled the photo and how good it tasted ! The first picture is the idea I got off instagram , and the next two pictures are the actual cake !
We were looking for a place to have breakfast early on a Saturday morning, and we saw that there were empanadas at Vanilla Cafe so we decided to give it a go. We didn't have super high expectations for the empanadas, since that doesn't seem to be what they specialize in, but boy were we surprised! The only options they had available were chicken and beef $2 each). We got one of each. Each empanada came with green hot sauce. The green hot sauce was so good and added a nice kick. The empanadas were warm, crunchy, and so satisfying. The filling was shredded meat with potatoes and it was not too overwhelming for the palate. It was not overly oily either. The dough was crunchy and I'm not sure if they were fresh, but they surely did taste like they were! I hope they have other flavors of empanadas the next time I am craving them. They were such a pleasant surprise! As for the bakery breads they sell, they look pretty big and I would be interested to try them in the future.
This is my favorite bakery to get fish sandwiches in the morning. Its fresh and has amazing flavor. The ladies there are super sweet. If you go there enough, they start to remember who you are and will make some small talk with you. I also come here for their walnut bread, but that doesn't come out until late morning/mid-day. Their fish sandwiches are fresh and so good. They also make some mean breakfast sandwiches. I usually get a fish sandwich and a ham and egg sandwich to bring to work, and even after an hour, it's so good. I 100% recommend coming here for breakfast if you can! They also have breakfast platters and noodles.
