Perko's Cafe - Jackson

I love Perko's! They make you feel like family and their food is yummy! Especially their fries, fantail shrimp, country potatoes, patty melts, crispy Thai chicken salad, and, oh my, the splatter cakes!!! Trust me, there's much more on the menu than that.

The wife and I were traveling through Jackson, California this day and decided to stop at Perkos on Hwy 88 for a meal. I loved this place. Casual homey atmosphere with many nostalgic items around the upper walls and a fantastic staff to go with it. I was wearing my Navy ball cap and right away got a Thank you for your service before being seated. Our waitress was very helpful, assuring me the Chicken Fried Steak was a winner as well as the generous portioned meatloaf my wife ordered. There was no disappointment on either meal and we topped it off with their made-on-site Apple Pie. I will stop again for sure and I highly recommend you do the same. 5 STARS.

Perko's is our favorite restaurant. Everything we've eaten has been delicious. Staff is very friendly even when they're busy.
