Sal Mookie's New York Pizza Ice Cream Joint Jackson

I'm glad they've relocated to District. The food is excellent, and the staff is as friendly as ever. The pizza is flavorful and the portions are generous. While it's not the cheapest option and there are other great pizzas in the Jackson metro area, I believe that if you're a pizza enthusiast, you'll quickly find your favorite here.

The food was decent, but the pizza was difficult to pick up since all the toppings were piled in the center. I ended up having to eat it with a fork and knife. The main reason I gave it only two stars, however, was due to the condition of the takeout box. It was dark when I picked it up, so I didn’t notice until I got home that there was pizza smeared all over the outside of the box. It made a mess in my car, getting all over the floor and seat, which I had to clean up.

Chef's kiss to the **** Marys!!! Large portions for pasta. Huge mozzarella sticks and flavorful pizza. Kids adore the ice cream and the area outside is nice while you're waiting for a table (grab a couple of those DELICIOUS **** Marys and let thekids run around!

It was enjoyable! The pizza was a bit too salty, likely due to the salty nature of the ingredients used, but the dessert was wonderfully sweet and tasted fantastic.

I ordered a 14-inch shrimp and bacon pizza for $25.02, and it arrived in about 10-12 minutes. Overall, the pizza was outstanding, and the staff at the front was incredibly friendly and welcoming. My father and I enjoyed some great conversations with them. The pizza itself was delicious, and I had no issues at all. The interior had a warm, family-friendly atmosphere while still feeling professional.
