Sam's Seafood - Jackson

Wow! On a drive from Texas to Florida we stopped for dinner. Don?t let the exterior fool you? the food was ON POINT. The chicken strips are HUGE. Everything is hand breaded . I had the fried shrimp. Someone else had the catfish, the red beans and rice was delicious. We had a large party with a big order and all of our food came out piping hot. The gal?s at the counter were friendly and helpful to navigate exactly what you want from the big menu. I will definitely seek this place back out each time we roll through Jackson.

I always enjoy the fish and shrimp combo here, and the roasted chicken livers are exceptional!

Delicious food served hot and fresh by friendly, helpful staff! The portions are generous! The shrimp, fish, and chicken were all large, juicy, and cooked fresh after we ordered. I couldn't finish everything in one sitting! This place is conveniently accessible from the Interstate. We were really glad we chose it for dinner! The woman at the counter greeted many customers by their first names while we enjoyed our meal, asking if they wanted the same sides or sauce as before!

It don?t make no sense how good that food is! It?s VERY AFFORDABLE !!

Excellent family owned southern style seafood and chicken restaurant. Food has excellent flavor and has a good batter with light fry. The crab cakes and shrimp are magnificent! A little off the beaten path but safe, clean, A rated and simply delicious!
