I can't find the words to describe the service we received tonight. That's because we didn't receive any. After 25+ minutes after being seated (no drinks, no hello not anything), we gave up and left for another restaurant:
They have some of the nicest people serving you, with some of the most unimaginably, terrible service possible. In the cross country competition between pizza franchises, I will always stick up for Pizza Hut. I prefer Pizza Hut (especially for their breadsticks), and think that it deserves a lot more bang for its buck . This WingStreet, however, managed to make it to the top of my list for worst dining service ever experienced. My friend and I got out of work, and decided to eat at this establishment for the first time. The waiter who greeted us was delightful, and we were seated right away. It wasn 't so much the food or the duration to receive it that annoyed me, but the time it took for the staff to remember we existed.Firstly, I had ordered a salad along with some wings. The salad never came out with our food, and when we were done eating I asked if I could get it to go instead. Our waiter had revisited our table and asked what dressing I had wanted for my salad, when I had already answered this question the first time-round. Once it was finally brought out, it was not in a to-go box as I requested. On top of that, I was never given any silverware. We asked the waiter for the box, but once it was given to us, they disappeared.I had to scoop the entire salad into the box with my hands. While we waited for our server to bring our check, I started eating the salad with my fingers. When they finally reappeared, they looked at me and didn 't even bat an eye. if you see someone eating a salad with their bare hands, I would imagine that would spark a realization that they might need some eating utensils that were previously forgotten about, but no I guess that wasn 't the case here.I will confess, the service might 've been a little on the forgetful side, but they were no where near mean or unfavorable. In fact, the ones that I interacted with were very friendly and personable. I would 've appreciated a fork to eat with, but I can 't say that I was overly irritated by the situation because of how nicely I was treated by the team.As far as food goes, their dry-rub lemon pepper wings are killer. Although, I was kind of surprised by their sudden jump in price when it came to their wing options. 6 wings were priced around $9.99, where their 12 wings were $21.99. I wish there was a 8 wing option that was a little bit in between, but other than that I thought their pricing was fair. We also ordered a side of their Cinnamon Apple Pie bites, which were very delicious for what they were.We waited around for a lot longer than I expected to for a check that never came. Our waiter had disappeared completely, and I was left with a fork-less salad. However, a couple behind our booth had paid for our meal, which happened to be the sweetest gesture imaginable given our situation. It was definitely an up and down experience for my friend and I to say the least. If you want to enjoy a nice meal out that isn 't overly fancy or pricey, then I would say this is just the right establishment. I would offer that this restaurant is more for the family types or a friend get together as opposed to a date or something of that nature. Overall, my dining experience was a little rough around the edges, but I thought that their food and attitude was very good. I wouldn 't dine in, but if you are in the mood for some bomb wings, I would highly recommend giving the WingStreet drive through a visit instead.
