I love this concept! It's like any of the mail order meal prep services but it's local and fresh. You also don't have to buy a whole bunch at once or actually chop the food!!! I've been walking past the Bottega for months but always closed and I thought it was just a catering place. Checked out the website and found that they offer premade meals!! I popped in this afternoon and was helped by Mark. He explained the different foods and how some are fresh and some are frozen. They have some single serving and some meals for 2. There are also sides, dressing, desserts. So many options to pick from...vegetarian, meat, seafood, etc. Tonight I tried the pistachio crusted chicken with wine sauce. It's comes in an oven safe pan so I covered with foil and put in air fryer so didn't have to heat up whole stove. 10 minutes and it was perfectly heated up. It was very tasty! Tomorrow are the vegetarian enchiladas!! Each lid had the item name, ingredients and heating instructions. What I wish it had was nutritional info.

Microwave usage is not supposed for this food. I have always been hooked on gourmet signs, so I just could not pass this place, while having no wish and power to cook after moving. Unpacked, cleaned, I keep coming every day, the food is exact home made, menu is different enough not to get bored, cookies right as my granny used to bake.

Just tried for the first time. Awesome choices and what we selected was well executed. Will definitely be back.

So glad I finally went to this place. Though very part time here. Jersey girl with a place here. I will be back . Choices were great and the woman was lovely.
