Jax Beach Brunch Haus

The menu offers plenty of vegan choices, some even featuring eggs. I ordered the tofu with sourdough bread and it was delicious. We returned for a second visit and tried the vegan French toast, which was the best French toast I've ever had, vegan or otherwise. After searching around Jacksonville, I don't think there's a better spot for breakfast. The only thing I wish is that it had a view of the nearby beach (which is just a few minutes' walk away). Initially, we were served dishes that were not ours, including a French toast dish that we did not order. After sending the food back, we had to wait about 10 minutes before our correct meals were brought out. My dish was alright, but my friend's dish was not. He ordered the Just Egg scramble with home fries, but it came with toast and non-vegan butter, as well as a side of non-vegan cheese. When we informed our server of the mistake, she took the plate back and brought it out again with the same Just Egg, dry toast, and home fries. We were not offered vegan butter or any toppings for the dry toast. The server did not check on us again until it was time to pay the bill. The Just Egg dish was disappointing - half of it was filled with avocado, a small portion of Just Egg, and some unmelted Daiya cheese. It lacked flavor and was unsatisfying. Even my Mexicali wrap was underwhelming, tasting like plain tofu roasted with paprika and bland sausage. Overall, it was not worth the money.

This restaurant offers the best vegan brunch in Jacksonville. They have a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. They also offer a selection of alcoholic drinks and vegan milk for coffee. My favorite dish is the Mexicali Packaging with vegan queso fresco. I highly recommend this place!

My daughter took me here on my birthday. She is not vegan but knew there were a lot of options for me. This is now my favorite brunch spot! The tofu scramble is so good, my daughter not prefers it over the traditional brunch items!
