Roy's Jacksonville Beach

It was my birthday and some friends took me to Roy's, the food was totally awesome,the waiters were very courteous,we never had to wait for anything, I have already recommended Roy's to all my friends, I enjoyed my birthday very much and I do look forward in dining there again, I even had my first taste of sushi and I think I just might have a new type of food to eat, the blackberry crisp, the pineapple upside down cake and the lava cake was just super great, yeah we tried a little of everything, Roy's is the place to eat when in Jacksonville, Thanks so much for making my birthday a special occasion.

Beige the experience was less than equal to the cost. The food was not bad but was also not good. Outback offers better meat. The atmosphere was like a cafeteria the lighting bright and patchy the decor was old and tired. Staff was also beige they were there but not engaged seemed bothered to be serving. There are many great local places that are grateful to have business and welcoming as well offer great food I would skip this one!!

Definitely recommend this restaurant first place that I've found that really works hard on customer service. I ordered a meal incorrectly and without asking, the manager credited the meal and presented me with a preferred item. (No Charge) Shocking, Shocking. Besides that the food was good and a nice selection of wine. The restaurant was a little loud (maybe it was where we were seated) but other than that it was a very enjoyable evening.

Step inside of this restaurant and you will immediately feel like you have started a relaxing pampered vacation. The decor is subdued Hawaiian/Asian, but comfortable. The food selection is predominantly fish, however, chicken, pork and beef can also be found within. Desserts are also fabulous, and when they ask if you want to preorder the Chocolate Volcano say yes! Save room you can always get your entree boxed, but if you miss the Chocolate Volcano, you 've shorted yourself! Roy 's is a place where you can truly relax and have conversation without feeling like you must hurry so that they can reseat the table. The servers are attentive and friendly, but not annoying nor inappropriate. Spending 2 hours with my husband at Roy 's really is a great evening for us. It is our favorite ;date night ; location. My husband and I save Roy 's for our special occasions, and generally will spend $120 or so for both of us, including gratuity. This includes at least 1 cocktail each, salad (not included in cost of dinner), an entree and dessert with coffee. But, considering that I have 2 hours of quality time with my husband in a relaxing location, a delicious meal and something really yummy in my take home box, it is $120 well spent!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Roy's. It was truly an enjoyable and delicious evening. Although the room was filled with people, we felt as if we were the only customers there. The staff went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. The food was scrumptious, the presentation beautiful, the service exceptional.
