Long time Taco Lu diner and one server can ruin a visit. Back in town today. Only restaurant I was looking forward to visiting and Ali R. was not up for questions today. Asked her kindly where I might find other drinks listed without Tequila and her answer was you make it up in your head . Ok, usually, we have a full bar menu would be an acceptable answer. Was looking to order nachos instead of free chips and salsa but instead she wanted to rush a decision, we just got to table so lost that order with free chips and salsa. When time to pay came, Ali verbally gave total of check instead of showing the hand held computer. Then stayed until tip was put in. This is generally offensive practice that is not only at this establishment and should be noted. I prefer to tip on table in cash so great servers get to be well compensated for individual great service. Was never asked what liquor for mojito ordered and was up charged for Bacardi. I very rarely give negative reviews of servers as I respect the hard work and hours they put in. Respect is key. I gave no reason for service that was given. This is the reason for this review.

The best street tacos, street corn, and salsa east of Texas! The chips and queso were good too. Service was amazing. It was highly recommended by several locals. Amazing value!
