The Bearded Pig Jax Beach

The barbecue at this restaurant may not be the best, but it was still quite good. The prices are fair and the meat is fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the option to dine outdoors. You order at the cashier and they assign you a table number. Despite being busy when we dined in, the service was very prompt. Several waitresses checked in on us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. There is ample parking available, which can be hard to find in the beach area.

The restaurant has a fantastic layout that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the beer selection was impressive. The brisket, pulled pork, and coleslaw were exceptional.

The cashier was great and the food was delicious. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be coming back again.

An ok BBQ joint (which to me anyways means better than most reg food stops). They were out of burnt ends and rib tips (not a good sign) so settled haha for brisket lean (which was very tasty). I tried the sauces a bit runny for me. I get it with mustard and vinegar bases but the sweet adv hot should thicker so to layer on to the food. Also had the poutine which was terrific definitely should try to spice up the menu with more unusual and unique dishes like this. The fries were crispy the cheese was melty and not too pimento ha. And just enough meat to get a piece in every forkful. The spare ribs were meaty with flavorful dry rub I liked a lot.All in all a quality experience I’d like to get back one day to try some other items. Personnel were friendly and helpful. Restrooms relatively clean. I’d suggest installing a small sink hand washing area outside for use hands on eaters ha.

We decided to try this pace instead of going to our other options of Bono’s or Sonny’s. Big mistake.I don’t mind placing my order at the counter. But I do have a problem trying to add gratuity before even being seated. Then I stopped in restroom, then went to self service drink counter. Waiter was already standing there with food, waiting for us to be seated. Brisket was good but cold, mac cheese was fair at least it was hot) . The roll, which you had to pay for separately was room temp and no butter. Baked Beans, which instead were Lima Pinto beans mixed .. not even close to baked beans.. The meal is also served on a piece of paper on the tray. No plates ..There was no service, other than meal being brought to the table. We never saw the waiter again after meal was left at table.
