Waffle House - Jacksonville Beach

It was my first time at Waffle House because a friend insisted that I needed to have this quintessential American experience. I can honestly say that the service was excellent—very friendly—and the food pleasantly surprised me. If you visit, I highly recommend trying the waffles with pecans. We also ordered a classic dish, which was good, but I still prefer the waffles!

I had no idea I was so close to the ocean when I stopped here for a late breakfast. It's like 3-4 blocks away. I haven't been to Waffle House since I was on a mission trip in Mississippi to help people after Katrina, in 2009 I think. Delicious! You can tell the people who work here really love what they're doing.

I love Waffle House. I went to this location to just go somewhere different. People were super friendly and the food was fast and great. It was late at night and there wasn't too many people there. The music was turned up a little loud for my taste and that's the only reason for 4 stars. But it was late, they were having a good time and making the visit as pleasant and fun as possible. Highly recommend this Waffle House.

Ah, the good old Waffle House. There's nothing quite like enjoying waffles, eggs, and bacon at 2 AM after a night out. I have fond memories of going to Waffle House as a special treat with my grandpa after church. It’s the epitome of Southern comfort food—always fresh and served quickly.
