A taste of Key West in Jacksonville. The owner and the staff are very friendly and will welcome you. You have a nice selection of beers and a modest selection of wine. No hard fleet, but that would be a nice addition. The weather was not beneficial to sit in the terrace, so we ate inside. It is relatively small, so all the noise that our group has made has traveled everywhere. We hope the other Diners don't mind. We tried a variety of foods, and all were excellent. Jerk chicken wings, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, black trigger fish and fried shrimps were all delicious. We marked the service as 4 instead of 5 due to the pace. It seemed slow, especially since the place was not busy. On the other hand, they were very friendly and accommodating. We're going back.

Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to sit on the patio, so we dined inside. The restaurant is on the smaller side, so our group's noise carried throughout the space - we hope it didn't bother other diners. Despite a slightly slow pace of service, we tried a variety of dishes and all were fantastic. The jerk chicken wings, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, blackened trigger fish, and fried shrimp were all delicious. Overall, we rated the service a 4 out of 5, as it seemed a bit slow despite the lack of a busy crowd. However, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

This place is a hidden gem. Ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of Caribbean slaw. Absolutely satisfied. I have visited a few times now and always had a great experience each time. Wonderful staff. Sandy took care of me today and she was a delight!

Been here several times and never had a bad meal! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beer selection is delightful and features some excellent craft breweries. Unassuming outside, quaint inside and gourmet food. The plates are always beautifully arranged so you first bite with your eyes is great. We'll come again!

I eat here regularly. Black Fly is an ideal casual spot for someone who wants quality food, great beer, actually fresh local fish (most days is triggerfish), local owners who really care about their food, and a very comfortable spot to eat. Everyone I direct here goes back and raves about it. Wish they were open on Sundays, but everyone needs a break I suppose.
