Most foods were excellent. we had duck warps, lettuce wraps and 5 decreasing samplers, all really good. we divided 4 entrees pan fried noodles, sweet and acidic hunch, fried rice with sausage and one. all really good except sweet and sour the hunch was very dry (overboiled) and poor taste even when in the sauce penetrated. service was underoptimal waitress was inattentive and repeatedly forgotten that we demanded. Overall, eating was good and we would return.
Unless we happen to be traveling, we always celebrate Valentine's day at Blue Bamboo and there is always a special menu this year was the best yet! Every course was fantastic (I shared with the hubs so I could also order some ala carte items he wouldn't want) but the love letters pasta was a stand out! And dessert OMG so many choices it was impossible deciding so we took almost everything home in a to go pack which we've been enjoying since. SO SO glad we did not miss it this year!
Food was pricey. A lot of the menu was farmed seafood or $40+ steak entrees. We went on Valentines Day, service was slow. Ended up with Kung Pao tofu and sweet and sour chicken, 2 drinks, and zucchini straws. Bill with tip was $80.
The food is good, but overpriced. Service was sub par. Appetizers were better than the entrees, we got egg rolls and crab rangoons for apps, and ahi tuna and general shrimp for mains. Portions were not big enough for the high prices. Overall just average in my opinion.
