Blue Orchid Thai Cuisine - Jacksonville

We went to the restaurant On Atlantic and Hodges. I think the price is way way too much. The food was not even good. I understand Thai food but to pay $20 or more just for noodles and vegetables that's ridiculous and the food quality to me. It was not that great compared to the prices.

Jose was amazing and super attentive to our party of 9! I had the basil fried rice with chicken and it was so good. I also got a glass of PG and they offered 5oz or 10z pours which is awesome. You can adjust the heat on any dish, which I appreciate because I do not like spice. The wonton soup I got in a cup, and it was phenomenal!!! It came with 3 wontons and the perfect about of bean sprouts and broth. If you come to this Blue Orchid please request Jose, you won't be disappointed

1st visit. We were welcomed by the manager, we selected a booth, our server was Jose, no complaints at all everything was as described, we look forward to our next visit. Flavors were delicious

Can I give 6 stars for service? Shawn was just delightful! I think he’s normally a manager but we were lucky enough to have him serve us today : Decor is beautiful. It’s ALL imported from Thailand (except the Buddha since that’s illegal . Great place for a date. Food was excellent. They even have gluten-free versions of most (maybe all? of their sauces. Very gluten-free friendly place!! The gluten-free Chili sauce is also Vegan, so they’re vegan-friendly as well. The tofu was not over-fried, it had the perfect texture. Hubby said his brown rice was extra delicious for brown rice. Hubby is allergic to nuts and seafood and they made sure to check that nothing slipped through the cracks. Not all places are so careful, in our experience, it’s often that servers don’t actually know what’s in the sauces! We really appreciated this attention to detail. We will definitely be back!

Ordered takeout online. The food was ready about 10-minutes early, just as I arrived. It was cooked exactly as requested. I had the Pad Thai. The sauce was good, and the portion was perfect. The gal at the front counter was very friendly. I'll gladly return here for Thai.
