Bono's Pit -b-q - Jacksonville

Wow! The food and staff here are incredible. I had dined at a nice seafood restaurant the night before and had green beans as a side, but they didn't compare at all to Bono's green beans. I ordered the small St. Louis ribs, and the portion size was perfect for me. The Nanna pudding is absolutely fantastic as well! Food: 5/5

I frequently order takeout from this restaurant, and I often place large orders, yet they always get it right. The staff is fantastic and recognizes us every time we visit. I prefer my food well done, and they consistently make my fries and onion rings extra crispy, plus they ensure my meat is cooked just the way I like it. I highly recommend this place; they will prepare your food exactly how you want it.

I ordered through the app and went inside to pick up my food. I found it odd that I could smell incense instead of BBQ. Once I got home and opened my bag, I realized I had ordered the chicken platter, but it looked more like a child's portion. The beans were good, though. I took a picture, but unfortunately, it doesn't allow uploads. What a shame!

Great food with good sized portions. My family of 4 can share 2 three meat platters with a couple of extra sides. We get appetizers and sometimes dessert (good cookies).The service is quick and pays attention to the needs of the patrons. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room.

We have been going to this Bonos for years because it feels like home. Wait staff is very attentive even when only one waitress is on duty. Service is sometimes slow, but totally worth it because the food is always delicious. My favorite is the large chicken platter because it's always juicy and full of flavor. I pair it with the green beans and mashed sweet potatoes to round out a relatively healthy meal.
