Buddha's Thai Cuisine - Jacksonville

Buddha's consistently delivers great food, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is lovely as well.

We love Thai food, and Buddha Thai is our favorite! Her fresh take on traditional dishes sets her apart from any other Thai restaurant I've visited. I always recommend the pad thai. The fresh vegetables served sizzling hot, with steam rising as the peanut sauce is poured on, are absolutely delicious!

Food was a bit inconsistent in spice level. The salad was rather bland but the main was tasty. Overall basic thai food.

I had a reservation for New Year’s, but the hostess couldn’t locate it at first and eventually found it. The staff seemed overwhelmed and short-staffed, and many other guests with reservations were also ignored. There was no manager present, or else they did not come to speak with the customers. We waited exactly one hour past our reservation time before deciding to leave. We ended up eating at Mellow Mushroom instead. I hope they can resolve these issues because I’ve dined there before and had a great experience. I’m not sure if this was just a one-time occurrence or if things have declined overall.

First time here after getting it recommended for years. Getting seated was a little slow and the menus were a little confusing. All four entrees were excellent including pad Thai, barbecue chicken and yellow curry with seafood. I had ordered yellow curry noodles with seafood but didn’t say anything because I didn’t want to wait and iwhat I had was so good maybe better than what i ordered. Service was a bit slow and awkward but prices and food were both Great so we will go back.
