Excellent service and food. Reserve, they're busy. You know that your food will take time, everything is fresh. Eating here is a traditional Italian experience, which means its time to relax, enjoy your food and connect to the people you have with.
We decided to try this out tonight for the first time. I called in to place a to go order and they were very prompt in getting it done. However, when I walked in I was stared at by servers sitting and standing at the big table folding silverware linens, no one greeting me, just staring. After standing there for a minute I figured I'd just walk to the bar since no one that was working there could use their words. The bartender was very sweet and ran back and got my food. Now... the food... it was ok. Not as great as I've heard people talk about. Maybe just having an off night I hope. The Greek salad was EXTREMELY disappointing. I was really looking forward to it, too. The description on the menu should list that it only comes with 1 tomato, 2 small slices of peppers, a couple crumbles of feta cheese and very bitter romaine lettuce. Pretty disappointing experience.
Very busy place because the food is so dang good. Was not a long wait on food. The owner/chef cooks your food as if you were at her house. TLC I see the same staff so that tells me this is a good place to work. Check out the menu. I had the grouper hmmm delicious ? class place. Other side of restaurant live music and drinks are great. I can have better pictures on next visit. Was just so good
Waited too long to dine at Enza? What kind of treat was it today? Was greeted by my amazing waitress named Amanda on arrival. Blessed to have met the owner Enza? When I listened to the beautiful holiday music played by a piano nearby, I sat comfortably in the menu. Dining area where I sat opposite the main bar was lit and had a relaxed ambience. The menu had many interesting choices. Some specials were also recommended by Amanda. I will definitely try a special one at one of my next visits. It was certainly difficult, but I chose the meatball cup together with the roasted Calamari for beginners. Dinner Entree was the meat lasagna. I also added a side salad and a dove to the basket of garlic bread as soon as it came to my table. Each dish not only looked great, but everything tasted so fresh and tasty. I even dipped the Calamari into the meatball sauce, which was perfectly sweet and savory. Garlic bread was served hot and melted in my mouth after dipping into some olive oil. Then finally came the delicious lasagna and salad. The foods sweet mixed flavors around brought many memories of growing up in NJ and eat Italian cuisine near NYC with my family. Very happy overall with my dining room experience and saved some rests at home to enjoy. Don't share with someone! Can wait?t wait to dine again in Enza?s and enjoy some of the best Italian cuisine around!
