Chris was fantastic and really knowledgeable about the specials and menu. The drink he recommended was delicious. He helped make my husband's birthday a wonderful experience!

Be sure to make a reservation—I didn’t, and ended up sitting outside, which was quite hot. However, my server, Kyle B., was fantastic! The fried shrimp and crab cakes were delicious. Unfortunately, there was a nearby table with a screaming toddler, and I could hear him throughout my entire meal, which was the only downside!

To start, let me clarify that these are not your typical breakfast grits, which is what most people probably envision. These grits are bursting with flavor and are topped with expertly cooked and seasoned shrimp – you really need to taste them to appreciate how good they are. My Salt and Pepper Tuna was incredibly fresh and flavorful; for anyone who enjoys sashimi, this dish won’t disappoint. I wholeheartedly recommend trying all of these dishes, especially the Shrimp and Grits. Be warned, though—while the portion is reasonable, it might not be large enough to share! This is a great place to visit if you want seafood, you just have to pick the right item off the menu. The drinks were amazing and the service was exceptional. The lion fish was very tasty and fresh. The sauce that came with my tuna was the perfect pairing. However, my tuna was slightly overcooked, the oysters had shells in them, and the shrimp ceviche was too vinegary.

Our server was amazing. Can't remember her name but she was an older woman with dark, short hair. My veggies were a little overseasoned and my potatoes were not seasoned at all. However, they were cooked perfectly. There were many pieces of shells in my crab cakes but they were delicious. It's a small restaurant and it was packed the entire time. It made it challenging to maneuver around due to people being everywhere and tables being so close together. It was also very loud. There also isn't much space for you to wait for your table so people stand wherever they can find a space even if it is right over you at your table. It was also very warm.
