This is an excellent local place to enjoy a delicious burger (we tried the Matthews Burger) and some of the best potato salad around! The staff is fantastic. Swing by for a bite and a beer to support your community. Cheers!

In my opinion, some situations can be exaggerated too much. The breakfast sandwich is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I often stop by here between classes, and it’s always a great experience.

As for my dish, I wasn't impressed with the eggs—they were flat and not fluffy, and they seemed to have some pepper mixed in. However, the grits were delicious! I also appreciated that they don't serve the grits with butter, which suits my dairy-free diet. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Just a heads up, being downtown, there's a chance you’ll see some unusual sights if you sit outside. I chose to sit indoors, where it was cozy and comfortable, and not too cold. The menus are posted on the exterior of the building, and they do have separate menus for breakfast and lunch as well.

Came by yesterday at the recommendation of a friend. They told me they had GF items there. But when I went, they said they were out. Bummer for me. So I just ordered a side of grits and scrambled eggs. My friend ordered a whole meal that they loved. It had eggs bacon avocado and home fries. They used a ginger hot sauce to eat it with. I didn't really like my eggs. They were flat and not fluffy and looked like there was pepper added to them? But the grits were great. And they don't come with butter either, which is good for me since I'm also dairy free. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. But remember, you are downtown, so you will see a variety of odd things by sitting outside. I sat inside which was comfortable. Wasn't too cold either. Menus are on the outside of the building. They have a separate breakfast and lunch menu also.
