While the sushi was definitely fresh and the rice was cooked to the perfect texture, the presentation fell short, which is a crucial aspect of truly great sushi. The roll appeared a bit disorganized, as if it had been rushed together. On a brighter note, the lemongrass sake was fantastic!
This is my favorite sushi place! The shrimp sauce and ginger dressing are absolutely incredible. Their prices are quite reasonable, and the service is excellent—especially from the owner, Josh, who is always friendly and considerate. I highly recommend it! Food: 5/5
I ordered the lunch special, which included three rolls and miso soup for $13.95. The fish was incredibly fresh, and even the basic rolls had a unique twist. The tempura flakes in the spicy roll added a delightful crunch, and the Oyako Maki roll has become my new favorite. The interior decor is dark and elegant, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. Everything was very clean and looked professional. Overall, I would rate the food as 5 out of 5.
I visited this restaurant for lunch for the first time during my break and was disappointed to find only two people ahead of us, who had already been served. I was dining with two coworkers, and we placed our order within five minutes of being seated. Unfortunately, after waiting for 45 minutes without receiving our food, we had to leave. To add to our frustration, two couples arrived after us and received their meals before we did. When I inquired about the delay at the register, the staff member became defensive. When we finally got our food back at work, we were disappointed by the quality. The rice was mushy and had an off smell, and it definitely didn't resemble hibachi. Given this experience, we will not be returning or recommending this place to our colleagues.
Awful experience. I placed an order through Grubhub for two servings of salmon sashimi, and I only received two very small pieces. Other sushi restaurants provide at least four pieces for the same price I paid. Additionally, there were only two tiny packets of soy sauce included. That's just not enough. Please improve your service.
