Every where I have been they let you order and serve you the restaurant will let you finish. We literally needed another 5 to 10 mins. The pizza was good , but very scarce on the toppings. No wonder their closing in a week per the employee.
Quick bite but wasn't as good as reviews had said as it was high reviews of like 4.7, which is why we went, but food was meh . Service was awesome, though, and the atmosphere was unique and cool.
Over $4 for a pepperoni slice that had exactly three small slices of pepperoni.
Best pizza we've had in years. The owner explained how they make their own dough and it needs to rest 2 to 3 days. This is a very casual restaurant, so enjoy the cave atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring the food over. It's very good!
I went from absolutely loving Pizza Cave to never wanting to go there again. I've been there between 10 and 15 times, and at least 75% of the time, there are problems. They either forget the toppings, take an unbelievably long time, or mess up the order. The other day, I ordered my favorite pizza, and they said it would be between 15 and 20 minutes. When I arrived 40 minutes later, the pizza wasn't done. They told me it was still in the oven and would be another five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, it still wasn't ready! Finally, they brought out my pizza, and the guy gave me a full refund, apologizing for the delay. However, when I got home and started eating with my wife, she noticed real cheese on it. We are both vegan! I called the guy who gave us the pizza, and he said he wasn't sure if it was real cheese. My initial reaction was, how is he not sure? Shouldn't he have said it's impossible due to our procedures? Instead, he wasn't sure. I sent a picture to the manager, who confirmed it was real cheese. After seven years of being vegan, this is the first time something like this happened, and I feel disgusted. I write this as a warning to never go to Pizza Cave. Despite their great vegan pizza, the management needs immediate change. Ironically, I had recently offered to help promote their pizzas to the vegan community, but the manager was nonchalant. If the owner is reading this, the place needs new management. I hate to do this, but I have no choice but to post this review everywhere to warn other vegans to stay away from Pizza Cave.
