Rod's Crab Shack - Jacksonville

This restaurant is fantastic! I live nearby, and my family hails from Louisiana, so we have a strong appreciation for seafood. The prices here are very reasonable, and the food is incredible! The restaurant is also very clean, and the decor is charming! I can't wait to return!

Excellent service and fantastic garlic crabs! I was a bit unsure at first, but I was pleasantly surprised by the prices, portion sizes, and quality of the food. It's also great to know that they offer quick seafood takeout options as well.

At last! After three years of searching, I’ve discovered a dependable and trustworthy source for live crabs, and it's Rod's. The drive is a bit lengthy, but absolutely worth it. Rod was fantastic; right from the moment I arrived, I felt at ease and knew I had found my new go-to supplier. The crabs were exceptional—large, hefty, and fairly priced. I’m eagerly looking forward to trying some of his cooked platters. Bravo, Rod! It was a pleasure meeting you, my friend.

What a fantastic restaurant! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The prices are reasonable, and the seafood is top-notch. It's absolutely worth the 45-minute drive!
