Salsas Cocina Mexicana - Jacksonville

The food at this restaurant is good, although a bit pricey. However, what I find outrageous is the cost of their to-go margaritas. They charge nearly $20 for a 20oz margarita. We asked the lady at the front about the price, especially since the sign advertised house margaritas for $4.99. She informed us that the to-go price was different—$16.99. I was really surprised by this huge price jump. She tried to convince us by saying they were big drinks, but when they brought them out, they were just two small 20oz cups. It definitely wasn’t worth the price. Other Mexican restaurants offer 32oz cups for the same price, which actually makes that $20 worthwhile. That said, the food was good!

This was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had at Salsas. The food was disappointing—there was no flavor in any of the meats, and you’d expect "Salsas" to mean amazing salsa, but what we got was more like watered-down tomato soup. It was genuinely one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had at any Salsas. I can't believe the River City location would serve something this awful. On the positive side, the waitress was decent, and the restaurant itself is nice, clean, and in a great location. The margaritas at this location were fantastic, so I would recommend going just for drinks!

The food was incredible, and the service was excellent! Everything tasted fresh, and the restaurant was very clean! This has been one of the best places for salsa that I've ever visited.

Waitress place another party of maybe 12 people right next to our table of 4. It was hard to sit and move without bumping into each other's chair. Have some common sense.

It was our 1st time and we will visit again.Our server was new but she did a great job. Food was tasty.
