Taco Gringo - Jacksonville

We went through the drive-thru and then drove to Winchester. Unfortunately, our order was incorrect, and the sonchos were very packed the first time we visited, but that wasn't the case this time. Additionally, the building could use some renovation; it looks quite worn down.

The food was quite good, and the staff was excellent. However, the other customers really ruined the experience for me. In one corner, there was a group of women conducting a breast exam, and in the center, a loud group of "Karens" was holding some sort of Bible study. They were openly criticizing everyone around them, targeting parents, working moms, children, other diners, the LGBTQ+ community, and those with tattoos. While I support freedom of speech, their negativity definitely impacted my enjoyment of the meal. I usually find tacos to be a source of happiness, but an hour spent listening to that group was too much. If this is the type of crowd that frequents this restaurant, I won’t be coming back. To be clear, the other customers were the only issue.

The food is quite good, but I tend to order too much. If you're used to Taco Bell, you'll find the portions here are larger.

You are a big surprise to me you have a great menu. I enjoyed my food. You are different from the rest, which is an asset to your business. You keep doing what works for you. I had a great experience, great food, and I’d go back there again and again, and again, and again.

The employees are always great! Great food, a lot of variety on the menu.
