The Stout Snug - Jacksonville

Maybe it was a night, but our 6 ducks were all awfully poor, and we waited for them for over an hour despite only a handful of other customers. The staff is nice, but the service was slow. Were they short-circuited? Training new chefs? I'm not sure. Conclusion: It is a beautiful pub atmosphere for a drink and the game to watch, but go elsewhere for a full meal.

Best food, friendly staff and great atmosphere. The owner came by to see if everything was to our satisfaction. The prices were very reasonable. Great feeling of community. I have to go back.

Great place! Great people! Always go inside and never have had a bad time! Food is amazing! Ice for children and adults! You have Trivia on Thursday and live music at the rest of the weekend. My favorite thing is KIDS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME! My daughter and son can come and sit and watch a band without worrying about being kicked out at 9:00! It's a TRUE FAMILY ESTABLISHMENT!

The bartender there is great. It was a taller gentleman. I'm bad with names. Bluegrass band was playing and they had beer and a buddy special. Hopefully, the owner can figure out who worked. Very friendly and helpful. I always try the fish and chips my first visit at any Irish pub. Theirs was very good and came out quick. The waffle fries were also good. Normally, I'm not a waffle fry fan, but I will definitely eat these anytime. Can't wait to go back and try out other items on the menu
