Had heard a lot about the delectable samosas , paneer pakodas and vadas from here for years . There was always a rush in this place in the evenings . So , one day , during a visit to the electrical market in Phagwara Gate , where this eatery is located , we decided to sample the delicacies . We noticed that the place was being run quite efficiently . People were served promptly but indifferently . The simple funda was , " Come , Order , Pay , Eat and Go ." No time to answer queries . Samosas are served with cholas as per the tradition prevailing in rural Punjab . These cholas , elsewhere are generally served with kulchas or bhathuras . The samosa I ate , was hot and crisp , stuffed with a mashed potato filling and served with a watery chutney . Two years later , once again on a visit to the electrical goods market , I noticed that the eatery had moved into larger premises with space where customers can stand and eat . A veritable improvement for a street food joint . Since there was no alternate eating joint in that locality , once again I visited this eatery . Ordered samosas , vadas , gulab jamuns . The gulab jamuns were large , hot and soft , but a bit chewey . No comparison to those you get in Hazrat Ganj , Lucknow or Dariba Kalan , Chandni Chowk , Delhi . The samosas were still hot and crisp and the filling of mashed potatoes remained unchanges . Elsewhere in Jalandhar , the filling is enriched with addition of peas or cashew nuts to the potatoes . The vadas were crisp and edible but a wee bit too oily . The chutney still remains watery . It had flavour but no body . As an inference , try out this place if you want to fill your stomach .

This is a very good place for eating samosa, pakora ,gulab jamun ,aalu tikki and bare.you can also buy sweets for any ocassion

One of the famous shop in jalandhar city which having more than 3 shops in different areas like Central Town, Doaba chowk, Phagwara Gate. I mostly like samasa with chana.

It serve basics snacks in the city. the shop is new one but has essence of flavour a very long years back. Their samosa,Paneer Pakoda and bare are really special.

I occasionally go to this place. And I must say that everything is at proper rate, always fresh and best...You will hardly find anyone in Jalandhar selling Kachori, Paneer and Samosa with Channa. The taste is awesome. Must visit for everyone in Jalandhar..Thumbs Up for Food. Must try Paneer Pakora and Gulab Jamun all time People's Favorite.
