Tasty Colombian (Latinx food made by an Abuelita (grandma. I went there twice and tried their fried fish and chicken stew. Both times I ordered yellow rice, lentils, and plantains. The food was delicious and filling. I will go back again when I’m in the area. It’s a 10min walk from Queens Borough Hall and the courts or a 2min walk from the Briarwood subway exit.Sitting is limited about three small tables and maybe eight chairs. If you get there before the lunch rush, you may get a sit. Otherwise, you can order takeout or delivery. I saw people doing both.Mi Corazón Latino is an excellent little spot to have some home style Latin cooking with many good offerings. Go regularly to see all the food specials they offer.
I'm very impressed with the food at this local spot. I've tried the chicken stew, beef stew, pernil and the pepper steak and they were all delicious. The order comes with rice, beans and plantains. They are generous with the portion. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.
I been coming to this place for 5 years and rhe customer service is always excellent. They are really nice people and the food is good. I've had the grilled chicken, pernil, empanadas, lentils, chicken soup, white and yellow rice, and arepas. I've never been disappointed in the food. My go to place.
Small restaurant with fresh food. Always delicious. Friendly staff and great portions for the price.
