Halal Diner - Jamaica

The roast chicken was delicious. Everyone thought it was cooked perfectly.

I was searching for a nice Kebab/Biryani restaurant on my way from JFK airport to my home in CT, not too far from the highway. Halal Diner had good reviews and appeared to be quite close, so I decided to stop in. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable, recommending the Beef Kofta and Lamb Tikka with Afghani rice and bread, as well as the Chicken Tikka Biryani. He also mentioned a nearby Indian grocery store with unique dishes, such as Chicken Gyro, that we don't often see in CT. We had a pleasant conversation and shared some parenting notes. Although I had intended to eat at home after the drive, I couldn't resist trying some of the Lamb Tikka on the spot. It was absolutely delicious! I look forward to bringing my daughter next time to try the lamb herself.

I was really impressed by the service at this restaurant. I was just passing through the area and decided to stop in for a meal. The staff were incredibly generous and kind, and the food was of excellent quality.

Service and food was amazing, and the server is extremely attentive. I will definitely visit more often!
