Over the past four years, we've noticed a significant improvement in the quality of service, room cleanliness, and staff morale, likely due to new management. We can't wait to return for another stay!
I hosted my daughter's baby shower at this venue, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. The Executive Room is lovely and provides a serene atmosphere, away from the usual hotel noise. We opted for the "Trip to Italy" buffet, which was absolutely amazing—the garlic bread was incredible! The pasta and sauces were fantastic, and the salad was wonderfully fresh. Overall, I would rate the rooms 5 out of 5.
I appreciated the option to pre-order breakfast for pickup, but the hash browns were unappetizing – tasteless and soggy. I'm also puzzled by the fact that this hotel is considered family-friendly, yet the lounge, which doubles as the restaurant, does not allow children. This meant we had to sit outside the lounge, but I was informed that the service would be the same as if we were inside. We had to go inside to get menus, place our order, and after our food was delivered, we didn't see our waitress again.
So I gave it 2 stars total because of a big complaint of mine.I asked the lady on the phone if there was a room with a walk in shower that was handicap. I was given a room that was handicap, but the problem was that it was a regular bathtub...Big problem since my wife can't pick up her legs due to a permanent disability. Most hotels we go to (because we're well traveled people) will either tell us no or accommodate us, and since it was a Sunday night and the price before tax was $110, I assumed that it would be a formidable stay.Instead I was met with a bathroom that had a leaky showerhead, a leaky sprayer head in the shower that spit every direction (including outside the tub), a toilet seat that was very loose, and it made my wife's stay more difficult than relieving. The next morning I had an amazing breakfast that they made in the bar area, but I politely expressed my concern to the lady working the front, whom was nice to me and explained to me that the staff of the place was in and out and basically they needed a bit more training towards people's needs. Then I was told that the room I had was the only handicap room in the hotel. So my biggest problem here is that my needs weren't met straight from the phone call reserving the room, was too high a price for a room that honestly needs new carpet and some minor repairs, and overall didn't fit the Quality Inn standard or what a handicap room should be.Why would you have only one handicap room and make it like regular hotel rooms? If you think having a few handle bars and a defective sprayer in the bathroom makes it comfortable for handicap people to rent a room, you're sadly mistaken.Because there are no rooms that can possibly fit what we need as necessary for a handicap room, we won't be coming back.
We had a great stay here. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were wonderful. We had a whirlpool room and got about six or so towels and washcloths. Lots of room to spread out and we loved the breakfast-it's made to order, which was so cool, but they also have a well-stocked breakfast bar (waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, lots more). There is a bar onsite as well. Doordash delivers here, and it was nice and quiet. It doesn't look like much from the outside, and it's a little dated, but the day to day people that are there can't be held responsible for that lol. We would definitely stay again when we're back in the area
