The only issue I had is that they haven't updated their menu because they no longer have prime rib. Had I known that, we would have gone somewhere else.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the very first time tonight... We've passed this place at least a hundred times and never thought much about it... The food is fantastic and so was the bartender (she took our food order as well)... I got the beer battered chicken and my boyfriend got the Chicken Alfredo, we both had fries and a large order of onion rings, a soda, a mixed drink and a beer and it only cost $22 for all of it! We will be back! Best kept secret in Janesville!

If you haven't been here, shame on you. Shame on us for driving by it for 10 years. This place is unbelievable. Amazing food and amazing prices...not to mention amazing portions. Everything we've tried has been great, from the Patty Melt and Rueben, to the Italian dip and chicken bacon ranch wrap. BUT, the special Tavern Chicken is to die for. It's fried chicken breast in wonderful batter which melts in your mouth. And it's $3 with fries. We have already been back twice in less than a month. Trust me, you will love it. They have specials everyday, and today Sunday is the ****** Mary bar. Try it out

Four adults and two kids had lunch on Sunday afternoon. You order at the bar and food is delivered to the table. Had beer tavern chicken baskets and pollock fish basket. All hot, tasty and delivered promptly. Prices very reasonable. High top tables and booths. Noise level reasonable. Daily specials during the week. Building a bit shabby, but If in Janesville area, will go back.

Go on sundays for the Sunday Funday specials. Really cheap specials but really good and good portions. Definatly a good bar.
