Contribuisci feedbackIn Akasaka (Tokyo), in the Akasaka Tokyu Plaza shopping center, you will find the Ninja Akasaka restaurant. Although it may go unnoticed from the outside, inside you will find yourself in a perfectly recreated ninja village. You can enjoy strolling through narrow streets of houses illuminated by torches until you reach your table, where a ninja waiter will attend to you. During dinner, they will perform a small private show (as private as at your own table) of magic tricks, and since all the staff speak English, it makes it even more fun as they often talk about their lives as ninjas. The menu is very original, with ninja-style names like the tuna transformation or the bribe to the mikado. The dishes they serve, besides being delicious, have a spectacular presentation. The desserts, in particular, are exceptional, from a chocolate coulant with three sauces, which is the most common, to a cheesecake shaped like a frog or green tea ice cream in the shape of a bonsai. The only downside is that it is a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth saving up for a night out to dine there. As a curiosity, some of the walls have signatures of famous people who have dined there. For example, I dined where Steven Spielberg did. A highly recommended restaurant without a doubt.
Be ready to be transported to a black atmosphere when being escorted to your table. It is a marvel!
