Jamaca De Dios - Jarabacoa

I visited the restaurant with some friends and was blown away by the stunning view. However, I must admit that I was expecting more from the overall experience.

My husband and I visited the restaurant on a Thursday night at 8pm and found that it was almost empty. The view was stunning, the atmosphere was wonderful with great music, and the food was delicious. However, the prices were quite high. For two entrees and two drinks, our bill totaled over 100 USD. This restaurant is perfect for a fancy evening out, as long as you are willing to pay the high price.

I believe there is room for improvement in this restaurant. The small cabins could use some repairs, but the views are great and the location is nice. There are two chefs working here. However, the prices are a bit high.

It is a great place with an awesome view. Yet, the food was not that good. The service was inadequate, and not knowledgeable. And the price was extremely high in relation to the quality of the food and service. You are only paying for the view.

One of my favorite locations by far! Breathtaking views, excellent service staff and an above average selection of spirits. This place makes for an amazing date. I would give this place a full five stars if the ball wasn’t dropped with the quality and presentation of the food. Had various items from the menu as per usual in order to present an honest review and I have to say this place you don’t visit for the food as much as the experience.
