Truly superb restaurant! We had a really memorable time with really excellent food, good value for money and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel really welcome despite our very poor French skills. English menu available. We had the fixed price menu which was really good. Good range of local wines and spirits all at reasonable prices. I recommend the locally distilled Gin! We will be back. Service: Dine in

La façade sans fioriture cache un savoir-faire et une générosité joyeuse. Le foie gras (maison) au confit de figue est somptueux. L'entrecôte (d'une race locale) exquise et cuite à la perfection de même que les cèpes qui l'accompagnaient. Un Côte de Bourg 2014 rond et généreux totalement en harmonie avec le plat. Le service discret fut efficace généreux et très sympathique. Un petit cognac pour clôturer le tout et en extra une "Sève", une liqueur, à base d'eau-de-vie de cognac et d'amandes que je ne connaissais pas et produite en Charente-Maritime.
