Update after 10 years: Still one of the greatest restaurants in town. Tasty meals and great service. Definitely worth a visit. 10 years ago: Great service and great meals. The offered fish is always fresh and taste awesome. The menu card is written in polish and german (with some little translation mistakes).

One of my favourite places in Jackowo where you can try fresh fish and other traditional Polish cuisine. Place is often very crowded, but waiting time is worth it. Do not forget to try traditional green beer which is served in Jackowo:

This is a Very nice place located in a small stree next to the center. I went there bass on good reviews. We were 2 families so in total 3 adults and 2 kids. The restaurant is very Spacious so we felt comfortable, one large table with sofa seat was available and we could all fit easily. I appreciated that the Service was friendly and professional, waitresses are smiling and helpful. There is a large choice dishes and drinks, and local beers. I highly recommend to check the bar, they even have their own beer. We had all different dishes and all of us were happy with the taste and quality. Personally I Tasted the “placek po wegiersku” this is some kind of pan fried pancakes made with potatoes and topped with a Gulasz sauce with chunks of meat (beef), it was Very tasty. The other dish I tasted on the second day we went was the filet of pork. It is served with a confiture sauce with shallots (kind of a wine sauce), accompanied with roasted potatoes and rosemary, definitely recommend this one. Both dishes were very tasty and well presented. Price is very decent and we managed to eat for around 120pln all of us.

I was there long after the season and you might think that they might took advantage of being the only restaurant open by not keeping everything at high standard and you would be wrong. Both the food and the service awesome. You can order for take out or they will deliver you choose, either way you want be disappointed.

Professional service optimized for high throughput. They have two kitchens and the quality differs a lot. Just as if there are two restaurants. The better kitchen serves great food like the salmon with rice. Presentation and preparation are on high level and the prices are very reasonable. The other kitchen fails to match with that standard though.
