Nice family owned restaurant with great home cooking !!
Oh my Gawd is this GOOD food!Bring your appetite and a smile. These folks are friendly and the food is delicious. My family and I are traveling the country for the next ____ month/s until we get bored or see everything there is to see.I stopped here on a hunch it would be good. I was not disappointed. Great American institution. Get it while you can when they're gone there is no replacement!
Good place to eat. Very nice people, good environment and pretty antiques. Food was very flavorsome but little heavy on fat seasoning. I had barbecued short ribs with fried potatoes and fried cabbage with dinner roll. Dessert was a very flavorful strawberry cobbler. It's definitely on my list for lunch.
This little Gem is a well kept secret of the locals. The food is prepared fresh daily by Ms. Ruby, Mr. Robert and Lovell with loads of flavor and an extra dash of love. They offer catfish, pork chops and home made chicken tenders daily with 1-3 other main entree options. I can't say enough about the quality, complexity and numerous side options offered daily. A meat and two sides or a meat and three sides are my usual go to depending how hungry I am. Portions are huge, I always leave with left overs. I love all the vegetables side on offer. Come as you are as it's not fancy. Worth every Penny of my hard earned money.
